Corrections Policy
ToolMaster aims to provide useful, accurate information about tools, workshops, maintenance, safer use and practical projects. When we identify a factual error or receive credible information about one, we review it and make an appropriate correction.
What corrections we accept
We welcome specific, verifiable reports about errors in ToolMaster content, including:
- Incorrect facts, specifications, measurements, dates or names
- Misleading or unclear wording that could affect a reader’s understanding
- Incorrect safety information or instructions that need clarification
- Broken, misdirected or outdated links
- Missing context that materially changes the meaning of a statement
- Claims that are not adequately supported by the information available to our editors
Corrections should identify a factual or editorial issue. We do not generally treat differences in preference, tone or opinion as corrections, although we may review concerns involving safety, fairness, clarity or material context.
How to submit a correction
Email contact@spityhotel.com with the subject line “Correction request.” Please include:
- The full page URL, such as /corrections-policy/, for the article or page involved
- The exact text, heading, image caption or other element that needs review
- A clear explanation of the issue
- The proposed correction, when appropriate
- Supporting information, such as a manufacturer document, official record, applicable standard, source link or other reliable evidence
What makes a report useful
- Use specific, neutral language.
- Distinguish a factual error from a disagreement or preference.
- Provide evidence that can be independently reviewed.
- Explain if the issue could affect safe use, purchasing decisions or the meaning of the article.
- Identify any related pages that contain the same error.
Minor edits and material corrections
Minor edits
We may correct spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, typographical errors and wording that improves clarity without changing the substance of the content. These edits may be made without a correction note.
Material corrections
A material correction changes an important fact, recommendation, safety instruction, specification, conclusion or other information that could affect how a reader understands or uses the content. We may add a correction note or other visible explanation when the change warrants it.
Correction notes
When a material error is corrected, ToolMaster may add a note near the affected content describing what was changed. The note may include the date of the update and a concise explanation. The format and placement depend on the nature of the correction and the page layout.
We may correct an error directly while preserving the useful context of the original article. A correction note is not required for every minor edit.
Updates, revisions and removals
Some changes are updates rather than corrections. We may revise content when information, products, standards, availability or recommended practices change. An update does not necessarily mean the earlier version contained an error.
We may substantially revise, replace, archive or remove content when it is inaccurate, obsolete, duplicative, unsupported, legally problematic or likely to create a significant safety concern. Requests to remove content are reviewed individually and are not automatically granted.

Send the page URL, the specific passage at issue and supporting information to contact@spityhotel.com. The ToolMaster Editorial Team reviews submissions as appropriate and may contact you if additional information is needed. We do not promise a response time or publication of every submission.
